 Sony Launches Mylo

Not to be confused with the scottish DJ of the same name, Sony's 'mylo' stands for "My Life Online" and is sort of like a smartphone only without the phone capabilities, and no it doesn't play games. So what does it do you ask? Well it allows you to browse the net using the built in opera browser, communicate with your friends using Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Skype. On the multimedia side it can play back WMA, Atrac3 and MP3 files as well as Mpeg4 and AAC movies. On the inside the mylo is made up of a ARM 9 processor and a 1gb of nippy flash memory.

The battery life will keep you messenging and listening to music for 45 hours, watching video for 8 hours and talking on skype for 3 hours, of course the mylo wouldn't be a sony product without a memory stick duo slot. At present the mylo has only been announced for our state side brothers, it's on course for a september release with a $350 price tag. Keep it at EuroFusion for any news on a Euro release date.
